Well, what's been happening in the past month. Demos are all done now and ready to send to record companies. I also just found out about the International Songwriters Association, which seems to be like the Guild of International Songwriters and Composers, but the payment options seem to be more within my means, so have now joined to see how things go and am gathering contacts.

Now all the songs are done I've been searching for places online to promote music, so if you a member of MySpace (www.myspace.com/theresawroe) please check out my name and add me to your contacts or lists of friends, I'll do the same for you. In the following months I may post a link of groups so check it out if you a member of that group (or not) please join up and add me to your contacts. (any sites I join would be free)

I am Now venturing into sending CD's to contests, two I'd definitely like to explore are Angelic music and the UK songwriting contest, but realising now this will depend on what's left (moneywise) when it gets down to the final date to send them (we'll see)

Music wise: I'm hoping will pick up now I've joined ISA as a collaborator (hoping more people to contact me, planning to add collaborates to this site, so soon you may note lots more page cropping up with information about the people I write with (or for) and lots more music demos.

Re: the interest in some collaboration songs from Dnotice management, this is still up in the air, but Stephen seems positive and mentions good things happening (not holding my breath, which is a good job it's been more than 2 month since I first heard about a possible interest).

The bad news, unfortunately the contact I had from Beatrice seems to have fallen through, I sent songs to her and despite her interest in one, I never heard from her again, which is a pity, I guess that's the way things go?, but it's still a shame there was no reason why she never got back in touch, I can only assume she no longer wants to continue.

So, other than preparing and planning my next move of sending demos, I'm just quietly working on my music (if it's at all possible to quietly work on music??). I think I have enough material now for about half of my third CD.

I'm working on a lot more Rock now, after requests, and trying to talk myself into sending some demos to a band. I did try e-mailing them but never got a reply so not convinced about doing it yet or even of my Rock writing is good enough, so I guess more practice on this and I may change my mind when the full demos are done,. (maybe)
